Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"i ordered char siu pork, buko pandan cat panna cotta, and lemon iced tea with bear ice. The drink and dessert were cute and the char siu pork is very delicious, the pork is so tender and the sauce is tasty. The staff is very attentive too. I'll definitely come back to taste their other dishes"
"The HK roast chicken smelled so good, the baked curry pork rice was great too. The rabbit panna cotta was so cute and tasty"
"Cute concepts combined with delicious dishes. The beef hofan did not skimp on beef portions and the soy sauce, and the noodles were the firm kind that I love because chewiness extends the eating experience. All of their cold drinks have the cute bear-shaped ice and the calamansi lemon drink is decent. They also have two panna cota dishes with either tea-flavored jelly (the rabbit-shaped panna cota) I bought or buko pandan (cat-shaped). All in all, a perfect place to have a meal when I need cheering up."
"Food: Great. The Taste matches the very good Presentation of the food. Service: Sometimes slow and inefficient but that happens during peak hours of Dinner and Lunch times. Still good overall. Atmosphere: Well, it is SM North. So expect so kuch noise."
"Fair price for an okay taste. I didn't see any item over P300. Stir Fried Noodles P218 was misleading. Advertised as flat noodles topped with some meat but instead they served thin noodles and processed fishballs. Taste was just good, but nothing exceptional. Shrimp Wanton P168 average sized, masarap din but nothing special. Might dine again due to the affordable prices."
"The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining areas making it a great choice for those dining with their furbabies. The place features a colorful interior with orange and green hues, complemented by bright neon signage. The staff were accommodating and attentive, promptly cleaning tables as soon as customers left. Upon arrival, you’re handed a colorful menu with photos, which is very helpful for choosing your order along with a pen and paper to write your selections which are then handed back to the staff. The serving time was approximately 15 to 20 minutes. We ordered the Char Siu and the Egg Waffle with Chocolate and Cheese which were too cute to eat. The taste was decent, the portions were generous and the prices were affordable."
"Authentic Hong Kong cuisine at GF The Annex SM North EDSA QC. Loved the drinks presentation! Iced bear for Hong Kong Milk Tea and other drinks. Chili sauce was good. Food servings was enough and very affordable... though you'll find the meat slice a bit thin. Interior was simple yet clean. Service staff are very attentive. Must try: HK milk tea, Calamansi-lemon tea, Chicken terriyaki bowl, Curry fishball"
"Vibe was that of old HK sidewalk food houses but cleaner. Servers were attentive but I felt like there was a lack of managerial presence...since it just opened after all. Food was acceptable for the price point. Fried chicken was neither here nor there...may confusion as to what kind it was...not seasoned enough to be a chinese chicken dish. Overly seasoned to be a filipino chicken dish...but it was juicy nonetheless...better than most. The steak we ordered was just right for its price...reminded me of fastfood sizzling places. For less than 300 pesos? Ok na rin. Baked pasta was good. Also the chicken feet...liked it better than their siomai. Oh...and the cutesy bear drinks? Cute lang talaga. We also ordered the panna cotta. For 99 pesos not bad na. Overall, would be returning to try out some more items. Which says a lot kasi usually ayaw ko na balikan pag di masarap sa unang punta. The 4 stars is mostly for the effort to present something different from others...3 stars lang kung food lang talaga... worth a try folks."
